Emma Hardy MP and the Humber LEP have discussed a local campaign she is developing to help school students to continue to do their schoolwork and access learning materials whilst they remain at home.
Recognising that some of our young people do not have access to a PC/laptop or tablet to access schoolwork whilst away from normal school environments, Emma is keen to hear from businesses with any spare PCs/laptops or tablets that could be gifted to young people whilst we are in the lockdown period. This would be a fantastic way to demonstrate your support to the local community and our young people who are missing school and need support for their education at such a crucial time in the school year.
We recognise that you may not be able to support due to your own staff resource needs but would welcome any offer, however small. If you can help please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and Emma’s office will then contact you directly to discuss.
